WHAT’S THE BUZZ
WHAT DO I ACTUALLY 'DO' WITH THE CLUBS?
The clubs are meant to be swung in flowing, continuous patterns. The continuous, flowing motion develops rhythm and motor control. Controlling the momentum builds strength. The pull, from the club on your arm, offers a gentle way to exercise.
ARE THE SAFE TO USE IF I HAVE PAIN OR INJURY?
You should always consult with a medical physician before beginning any new vigorous activity routine. Now, let's assume you have gotten medical clearance to engage in physical activity. The answer is YES. The clubs are used by physical therapists all over the world. They can safely be used with many injury and/or pain states.
SO WAIT. THEN ARE THEY EXERCISE OR THERAPY?
The answer is both. The clubs are versatile tools and as such can be used different depending upon the intent of the wielder. They can be used by a qualified PT or movement specialist in order to directly address pain and injury. They can be used by a competitive athlete in order to aid and speed recovery form punishing training sessions. And they, of course, can be used by people from all walks of life in order to reap the fitness and health benefits of club swinging.
